About Tei Richards

Hi! My name is Tei Richards and I am a 2D Animator, layout artist, illustrator and storyboard artist based in Bristol, United Kingdom. I am currently looking for 2D animation or 2D layout roles!I am proficient in Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, After Effects, Celaction2D, Premiere Pro, Procreate and Photoshop.

Since graduating UWE Bristol’s BA Animation course in 2021, I have worked with A Productions as a layout artist on the Sesame Workshop film; “The Nutcracker: Starring Elmo & Tango.” I also assisted on some smaller Elmo and Tango projects for Sesame workshop, and helped out on A Production’s other project, Cbeebies’ “JoJo and GranGran.” I have also worked with Paper Owl Films as a layout artist on the first season of “Nikhil & Jay.”
I am a part of an art collective called “Velvet Mouse Collective,” in which me and two of my closest friends create and sell our artwork as a trio. We have currently held a table at Shake Bristol art fair, and plan on doing a lot more fairs and markets in the future!
